The Yearbook of International Organizations Online is a database accessible via online browsers. Being free of space constraints, it contains more information than the book version of the Yearbook of International Organizations. For instance, the book contains descriptions of 34995 active international organizations, while the online database covers 65184 by including profiles of dormant or inactive organizations. In addition, the Yearbook online is updated continually and therefore contains the most recent information - the print edition is only published once a year. Online database last update: 17. January 2012 Advantages

Hyperlinks The organizations database is extensively hyperlinked between organization profiles (several hundred of thousand links), and to organization websites. In addition, it links to other UIA online interlinked databases. These include the subscription-only International Congress Calendar as well as the free Encyclopedia of World Problems, Global Strategies, Human Values and Human Development. Freely accessible areas The following indices are freely accessible areas of Yearbook Online and provide a random selection of links to minimal profiles of organizations. For full profiles and search tools, please log in to the complete Yearbook Online, or contact our publisher, Brill, for subscription information. Technical requirements and support The logon facility requires, for uninterrupted use, that cookies be enabled on your browser as well as ability to process JavaScript code. Some non-text visualization features do not work with certain browser/platform combinations, notably some of the network mapping features using JAVA applets, and some other need downloading free plug-ins such as VRML, SVG, or PDF. Subscriptions are available for one year. Prices are also available on request for multiple user site licences. Access is available via username+password or IP-recognition authentication. |
