Volume 6: Who's Who in international organizations

Volume 6, or the Who's Who in International Organizations, lists over 24116 presidents, general secretaries, executive directors, chairmen and other officers active in every field of human endeavor. Some 15,354 international organizations are represented.

Over the years, the Who's Who has proven to be an indispensable tool, facilitating access to the global network of international associations. The purposes of this volume are to deliver information and biographical details on the principal personalities involved in international organizations at multinational and global levels, and to provide a resource for the development of inter-organizational relationships. All work for Volume 6 is part of UIA's research into international organizations' executives' biographies.

Volume 6 profiles include:

• Career information: previous and current positions in organizations, commercial enterprises, educational institutions; titles of published works; participation at recent significant conferences; field of work
• Personal information: complete name, including titles and aliases; honours conferred; nationality; date and place of birth; family; leisure interests
• Educational background: academic degrees, dates and names of educational institutions
• Addresses: postal and residential addresses, website, email

• Entries are listed alphabetically by surname
• Index 1 lists biographees by the international organizations in which they are, or were, active
• Index 2 lists biographees by the country of their citizenship (where known)
• Index 3 lists biographees by the fields of endeavor in which they are active
