UIA launches new free service Meetings @ UIA.org

The UIA is pleased to announce the launch of a new service, meetings@UIA.org.

 

 

meetings@UIA.org is a free service of the UIA International Congress Calendar. It covers over 360,000 past, current and future international meetings, from 1851 up to 2025, organized by international non-profit organizations working worldwide in all disciplines. The meetings profiled are the key meetings of international associations and intergovernmental bodies, whether regional or multi-continental.

 

 

The Union of International Associations (UIA), founded in 1907, is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations, most notably in its Yearbook of International Organizations.

 

It has long been our pursuit to find new ways of making this information more freely and widely available, and to step up our ongoing efforts to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

 

meetings@UIA.org is a result of this ongoing endeavour. It is a free service of the more in-depth research-oriented database, the International Congress Calendar Online.

 

 

meetings@UIA.org provides an interface to find current and past meetings by performing a quick and easy search, or by browsing by month and year of the event, by city or by country.

 

We invite you to visit the new service at http://meetings.uia.org. Bookmark the site and share it with colleagues and friends. Updates and new entries are made regularly, so be sure to come back and visit.
