In the Yearbook of International Organizations, associations are classified by subjects. The methodology is based on an integrative matrix of human endeavor. Themes are linked to such dichotomies as quality/quantity, art/science, soft/hard, image/text, context/structure and process/stasis. [Read more]
Creativity is a concept which fits many subjects’ cells in the matrix. Three have been selected for this study:
- creativity related to a material invention: quantitatively matter, actions linked to developmental principles, which concerned society, for example the public sector
- creativity as a formal concept, a precondition for innovation: in relation to society developmental principles as well, but part of art, soft science, as an explicit qualitative value
- creativity as a human value in its creative expression: related to environmental harmony it comes from existential experiences identified with meaning and consciousness
