Blind belief in a homogenous reality

 Externalization of aberration
 Rejection of anomalies as meaningless
 Rejection of things not understood

Nature
There is a prevailing tendency in Judeo-Christian/Euro-American cultures to to view exceptions to the rule, and things that cannot be explained, as not of interest. Aberrations are not questioned for their value in throwing light on the nature of the systems of which they are not a part. Anomalies are not seen as as sources of information about that part of the whole which has been excluded by naming them anomalies. In this way problems are conveniently externalized as being outside the area of investigation
