Much of our on-going work of discovering, documenting and disseminating information on international organizations involves up-dating and maintaining our online databases. These are the source of much of the information contained in our various publications and services, and are fully searchable for your convenience. Below are the titles and descriptions of the databases, both subscription-only and free to the public. You can also go directly to the entry portal for all UIA databases to enter and search for information.

Yearbook of International Organizations Online

The Yearbook of International Organizations Online is a database accessible via online browsers. Being free of space constraints, it contains almost double the information included in the book version of the Yearbook. In addition, the Yearbook Online is updated continually and contains the most recent information. [Read more]

International Congress Calendar Online

The International Congress Calendar is the most comprehensive source of information on international meetings organized or sponsored by international organizations. The database contains 329731 past and future events dating from 1986, including 15,000 new events added every year, only available via the Online database version of the Calendar. [Read more]

FREE - Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential Online

The Encyclopedia presents information on the global problems facing humanity. It maps networks and connections between problems to identify 'problem cycles'. Strategies that focus on only one problem in a chain tend to fail, but identifying these vicious cycles is a first step to designing strategies that reverse or break them. FREE - Network Visualisations Online

The Union of International Associations faces the challenge of providing greater insight into complex networks of relationships amongst international organizations, world problems, and strategies in response to them. We have been experimenting with various network mapping software tools to represent, comprehend and explore complexity - all available to view for free on this online database. [Read more]

FREE - IGO Search Engine

A search engine that allows users to search the websites of over 3,400 intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) listed in the Yearbook of International Organizations. [Read more]
