IGO search engine
IGO-search.org is a unique service, developed using Google CSE technology, that allows users to search the websites of over 3,400 intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) listed in the Yearbook of International Organizations.
IGO search shall be of interest to international relations and political science scholars; to INGOS and NGOs for project information, consultative status information, and information and research resources; as well as to the general public for news about jobs, events and critical issues in the world today.
The UIA's IGO Search is significantly more comprehensive than any similar service on the Internet. The UIA has a unique advantage in this area, maintaining detailed profiles of all IGOs as part of its mission to research and document, under UN mandate, global civil society networks.
The UIA created IGO Search in 2008 as a free service in order to facilitate public access to the rich variety of information and documentation that these bodies make publicly available.
