Scams cheats criminal activity

An increasing number of email scams are using NGOs, International NGOs, development agencies, meetings, international conferences etc as the hook to defraud or cheat unsuspecting recipients.

Always use caution when responding to or acting on unsolicited bulk email or paper mail.

The following are examples of these schemes / scams / fraud solicitations / fake conference / false conference announcements

We are also posting a checklist, compiled by the International Dance Council CID-UNESCO, to help distinguish between real and fictitious events and non-profit organizations, claiming national or international status.

De plus en plus d'escrocs agissant par courriel utilisent des organisations non gouvernementales et des organisations non gouvernementales internationales, agences de développement, réunions, conférences internationales…comme mobile pour abuser de la confiance de personnes.

Nous affichons également une liste de contrôle compilée par le Conseil International de la Danse CID-UNESCO afin de faire la différence entre événements réels ou fictifs et organisations sans but lucratif prétendant à un statut national ou international.

Soyez prudents lorsque vous répondez à des courriels ou lettres non sollicitées. Voici quelques exemples de ces escroqueries.
